Conor McGregor’s manager is denying claims that his fighter was pulled from UFC 219 for disciplinary reasons.

McGregor caused quite a stir over the weekend. The UFC lightweight title holder attended Bellator 187 in support of his teammate Charlie Ward, who earned a TKO victory. After the fight, McGregor jumped into the cage and chaos ensued.

Referee Marc Goddard separated Ward and McGregor as he hadn’t made a decision on whether or not Ward’s opponent was able to continue. A push to McGregor’s chest caused “Notorious” to run behind Goddard and give him a shove. He also appeared to slap a Bellator official.

Mike Mazzulli, president of the Association of Boxing Commission, claimed that the UFC told him that McGregor will be sanctioned. He also claimed that he was told McGregor was removed from the UFC 219 as a result of his actions.

McGregor’s manager, Audie Attar denied those claims to MMAFighting.com simply saying, “not true.”
