This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw not only served as the fallout episode for the highly praised Evolution PPV but it was also the go home show for the Crown Jewel event.

And if that’s not enough, the company had announced big appearances like the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and The Beast Brock Lesnar in advance for the show.

However, even all this and the much-talked heel turn of Dean Ambrose didn’t help Raw as much as expected and the episode suffered a slight drop in the average viewership.

The show featuring the DX and Brothers of Destruction segment in the main event drew a total of 2.472 million viewers which is down 3% from last week’s 2.548 million viewers.

Though the numbers show that people did tune in to the show at the beginning but despite no competition, they didn’t stick around for the later hours of the episode.

The first hour of this week’s Raw drew 2.723 million viewers. Both the second and third hours then saw a decrease in the numbers and they brought 2.455 million viewers and 2.237 million viewers respectively.

We are expected to see the crowning of a new Universal Champion at the upcoming PPV this Friday. It would be interesting to see if this helps the Raw episode in terms of viewership next Monday.
