Matt Jackson recently spoke to NuclearConvoy.com about a wide range of topics including AEW’s relationship with OWE in China. This is where he brought up how this partnership with be vital to All Elite Wrestling.
The announcement of their partnership was made public during the Double or Nothing rally earlier this month at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. This partnership with OWE is to use their talent for their shows.
Jackson brought up how his old friend CIMA was affiliated with them and working with OWE made sense right away as after watching clips on Twitter it as looked and felt so original.
“I’m attracted to anything out of the ordinary.” I think it’s vital to have something completely fresh and unseen by most eyes be one of the major highlights of our shows. We need to be different aesthetically, and OWE is just that.”
Jackson brought up how OWE will grab the audience’s attention and deliver something most fans have never seen as he plans to have OWE talent be one of the first things on their shows as they’ve only got one first time impression.
The first official event under the AEW will be The Double or Nothing event that is set to take place May 25th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
