Two new XFL Head Coaches have been announced by the league.

Pep Hamilton has been announced as the Head Coach for the XFL’s Washington D.C. team while Jim Zorn will serve as the Head Coach for Seattle. The football league made the news public on Monday.

Hamilotion left Michigan Football Coaching staff as the Assistant Head Coach of the Wolverines earlier this week for this opportunity. Previously, he served as the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts from 2013 to 2015 and Assistant Head Coach and Quarterbacks Coach for the Cleveland Browns in 2016.

On the flip side, Zorn is the former Seahawks quarterback and former NFL head coach for the Washington Redskins from 2008 to 2009. He was also the assistant head coach for the Seattle Seahawks.

Quarterbacks, team names and logos are expected to be announced in the next couple of months.

They join former Head Coach of the Oklahoma Sooners Bob Stoops as coaches of XFL teams thus far announced. Stoops will not only be the head coach but also general manager of the team based in Dallas, Texas.

The relaunch season for the XFL kicks off in 2020 on Saturday, February 8 and Sunday, February 9. It should be noted that this is the weekend following the NFL’s Super Bowl.

All eight teams playing in the inaugural season of the XFL reboot was revealed on December 5th. The following cities will host teams of the rebooted XFL:

Dallas
Houston
Los Angeles
