Ambrose has been teaming with Seth Rollins against Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin on WWE house shows as of late.

WWE released the following statement to media earlier this year:

“Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.”

Ambrose signed with WWE nearly 8 years ago on April 11th, 2011.

Before WWE, Ambrose wrestled for 7 years as Jon Moxley on the independent scene. Most notably, Moxley is a 2x former Combat Zone Wrestling World Champion. From Cincinnati, Ohio, Ambrose is also a former ally of OVE’s Sami Callihan. The two held tag team gold together for Westside Xtreme Wrestling.
