August 16th, 2003 is a night that Steve Corino will never forget. It was the last time he heard clearly with both ears. December 3rd, 2005 is a night that Homicide will always remember. It was the last time his shoulder was pain free. Now these two hated enemies will collide one last time to end this war.

The Steve Corino vs. Homicide feud actually started on 10/5/02 when they formed an impromptu team to take on the invading Backseat Boyz. Corino took a big league attitude with Homicide and superkicked him after Homicide accidentally hit him. From there we saw forks to the eye, full fledged riots and extreme violence that all led to "Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies" in August of 2003. The card saw a brutal bloodbath between Corino and Homicide. Early in the match Homicide slapped Corino so hard in the ear that Corino's eardrum was ruptured and he lost his hearing. The match that was supposed to end the feud only escalated it.

Next came the original "War Of The Wire" and a No Rope Barbed Wire Match on Thanksgiving weekend in 2003. Once again a violent encounter saw the hatred only increase. It all led to "Steel Cage Warfare" last December and an ugly, hardcore fight. Early in the match Homicide suffered a seriously injured shoulder. It is an injury that still haunts him to this day.

When Homicide won Cage Of Death for ROH at "Death Before Dishonor IV" last July, he asked ROH Commissioner Jim Cornette for another match against Corino. After Cornette's blowup with Homicide, the Commish was more than happy to bring Homicide's most intense rival back to ROH.

Now it is an eye for an eye, an ear for an ear and a shoulder for a shoulder. These two men have permanently maimed each other. They truly hate one another. Now they will get three opportunities to finish the job in just a few weeks.

October 27th in Dayton will see Homicide team with Samoa Joe to take on Steve Corino & Adam Pearce with Jim Cornette. This will be a very personal match for Homicide, who also yearns for a shot at Adam Pearce after Pearce's attack on him after Cage Of Death.

November 3rd will see ROH return to the Boston area when it hits the National Guard Armory in Braintree, MA. ROH has signed a Six Man War for the long awaited return to Massachusetts. It will be Homicide, Samoa Joe & partner to be named against Corino & The Briscoes. This one doesn't need any hype.

It all leads to Philadelphia on November 4th when Homicide and Steve Corino will collide one-on-one for the final time in a Fight Without Honor. There will be no rules and there must be a winner. The Fight Without Honor has historically been the end of feuds in ROH. They are few and far between and ROH only books this stipulation when the participants are out for blood and need to end things. 11/4 in Philly will be no exception.

All three of these contests promise to be modern wrestling meets old school grudge intensity. Homicide is heading to a World Title shot on 12/23 in Manhattan. If he is able to vanquish Corino he will have conquered a demon that has haunted him since 2002 and momentum will be behind him as he heads to NYC. However, if Cornette's master plan works then Homicide will have more than an injured shoulder by the time 12/23 rolls around. The Road Of Homicide is something you will never forget.
