All Elite Wrestling is just 16 days away from presenting Double or Nothing on PPV from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. According to a recent report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the streaming service which carries Double or Nothing in the US will be tied to the station expected to air AEW’s weekly television show in the fall.
“There will be a streaming component in the U.S. that is expected to be announced within the next week,” wrote Dave Meltzer. “There is a strong chance that the streaming service that carries the show in the U.S. will be tied in with the television station that will carry the weekly television show in the fall.”
One of the reported hold-ups in getting a TV deal finalized has been the day and time slot the show will air in.
“One of the hold-ups in finalizing the deal will be the time slot, which will be determined by the U.S. station that gets the show. When that time slot is finalized, final negotiations for outside the U.S. can be finalized,” Meltzer continued.
The report continues to say the show will likely air on Tuesday or Wednesday nights from 8 to 10PM.
