Some WWE NXT stars could end up working on the main roster for one night when WWE holds Super ShowDown.
According to WWE sources, the company is considering having a few NXT Superstars work the 50-Man Battle Royal at this show. Matt Riddle’s name was discussed over the weekend as a possible entrant.
Riddle did tease last week about appearing at the show to confront Brock Lesnar. WWE is expected to announce entrants for this contest in the coming days. Riddle is fresh off a win over Roderick Strong in a singles match at Saturday’s (June 1, 2019) WWE NXT TakeOver: XXV event in Bridgeport, CT.
WWE presents the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event on Friday, June 7th, 2019 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium that will air on the WWE Network at 2PM ET/11 AM PT.
