WWE brings up stars from NXT to the main roster regularly, however, in the past few years, only a few of the NXT call ups have been able to make their mark on the main roster.

During a recent interview with Sam Roberts on Not Sam Wrestling podcast, Drew McIntyre talked about a number of things and also revealed his advice for the talents being brought up from NXT.

McIntyre said that the NXT Stars should not lose the factor that brought them to the dance. Continuing on the topic, he said that Raw and SmackDown are very different from NXT.

Drew explained his comments by saying that in NXT, people have more time to tell a story while the matches at Raw and SmackDown are like commercials for the characters and future PPVs.

According to him, telling a story in 30 minutes in NXT is easy but to continue the momentum, the stars need to figure out what brought them to the dance and how they can tell the story in hand in 5 minutes in main roster to get themselves over.

Apart from this, Drew McIntyre also talked about people complaining about the lack of opportunity in WWE, returning to the company from indies and more.
