Over the past few days, WWE has been teasing fans with images featuring The Undertaker and Sting.

The two have famously never competed against each other, and a clash between the two often tops many dream match lists.

Sting has previously stated that a matchup with The Undertaker is the only match he would come out retirement for. Despite speculation that the images may be hinting the match could finally be happening, it turns out the images were to promote WWE’s new YouTube series, WWE Reimagined.

The series addresses a ‘What If’ scenario that both past and present Superstars then analyse and discuss. The debut episode revolves around what would have happened if The Undertaker had gone to WCW during the ’90s.

The video features names such as Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Bruce Prichard, Natalya, Sting, and more.

When hypothesizing about what would have happened during a match between himself and ‘Taker, Sting claimed:

“There is no way The Stinger is gonna get tombstoned by The ‘Taker. That ain’t happening. Not on my watch. What would have happened is a few Stinger Splashes, a Death Drop, and probably the Deathlock.”

He continued, saying “To have ‘Taker at that time [in WCW], I don’t think there would have been a chance for any kind of comeback with WWE at the time.”
