Batista announced his retirement from Pro Wrestling after competing in his final match in a No Holds Barred bout against Triple H at WrestleMania earlier this year.

During a recent appearance on Talk Is Jericho, the former World Champion discussed a number of things and he also revealed the original stipulation for their match they wanted.

According to the Animal, originally they wanted their bout to be a Hell In A Cell match because they needed bells and whistles and they needed the Drama.

Continuing on the topic, Batista explained that they were two guys who hadn’t wrestled in a while. They already had the history with each other and they needed the violence.

However interestingly, the boss Vince McMahon shot down the idea of a Hell In A Cell match due to the fact that Hell In A Cell is a PPV event of its own.

Batista also revealed Vince McMahon’s reaction to their match, saying that the Chairman was happy when he returned to the Gorilla position after the bout.

Apart from this, during the podcast, Batista also talked about his experience of working with the WWE creatives and he called it a nightmare.
