LISA "IVORY" MORETTI CHECKS IN FROM TRISH STRATUS' WEDDING WITH NEWS OF AN EXCLUSIVE DEAL THAT TRISH SIGNED WITH A MAJOR CABLE NETWORK

There’s an all-new 89 minute edition of JG's Radio Free Insanity on the air and available for free download at www.WorldWrestlingInsanity.com. This week, in the 42nd episode of RFI, host James Guttman interviewed former WWE Women's Champion Lisa "Ivory" Moretti.

James begins the show by talking about this week’s guest. He mentions that the entire interview with Lisa lasted for 57 minutes and is available on ClubWWI.com. Guttman says that she elaborates on a number of subjects including the diva who worked a bit too stiff.

Guttman then talks about Vince McMahon’s recent appearance on Byte This. James looks at many of the points Vince made and spoke about his uncomfortable critiquing of Todd Grisham. JG goes through each topic discussed and offered thoughts on many of the chairman’s answers. After that, James does the weekly reader-voted Moment of Insanity, which is, of course, William Regal flashing the No Mercy audience.

Once part two begins, James Guttman welcomes Lisa “Ivory” Moretti to the show. Moretti just returned from an exhausting tour with Nora Greenwald (the former Molly Holly) that ended at Trish Stratus' wedding. Instead of going straight to Toronto for the event, they decided to travel cross-country in Greenwald's trailer, paying for the travel costs by wrestling at independent shows.

Moretti started promoting the shows as "The Wedding Tour", which was sponsored by Monday Night Mayhem. They also set up a Myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/ivorymolly.

Moretti recently wrestled Nattie Neidhart, and afterwards met up with a merchandising guru that helped Lisa and Nora design "the best-looking gimmick table" at the show. There, fans were able to send along well wishes to Trish and her husband Ron.

The tour was cleared with Trish beforehand, and there was only one snag: Moretti planned to send some photos from the wedding to her webmaster. However, Stratus had already signed a deal with MTV for exclusive rights to her wedding footage.

Moretti said the wedding was fun and all the divas were seated together at "Terrible Table Twelve", bringing out the worst table manners in each other.

James then talks about the Diva Search, and how it brought people into the WWE who may normally have never worked there. Moretti says she kind of feels sorry for them because in WWE "they throw you out there; they don't give you any training."

The pace of live television can be really exciting for some people, while adding the physicality of wrestling can be really "spooky" for some newcomers. Moretti admits that she's been "making an ass" of herself on television her entire career, which is often the type of thing people like to see on television.

James asks about the infamous Jackie Gayda - Trish Stratus match in which Gayda botched several spots. Moretti says that she didn't see the match, but adds that "we've all been there." She also mentions that Bubba Ray Dudley had a similar upbringing to her in the wrestling business -- he was just told to get out there and start wrestling.

Moretti mentions that WWE has seemingly become too "Hollywood", yet they don't give their talents enough training to become better actors. "I don't think wrestling fans should be forced to watch really bad acting television." She also voices concern for some the storylines that are degrading to women. While children may not be watching the late-night wrestling programs, some are in the audience when they're being filmed. Instead of having explicit content, wrestling should be "clever like an Austin Powers movie," she says.

If she were given her ideal role returning to WWE, Moretti jokes that she wants Triple H's job. She then says that, even if she was given 15 minutes to talk, she wouldn't want it because she wouldn’t have enough to talk about. She would rather have a match during that time, and find ways to get the entire roster involved.

The discussion then turns to Triple H. Moretti compliments him for being able to put people over, such as he did with Ric Flair in North Carolina. However, he doesn't do that enough and it makes the product less predictable now. At his best, Triple H is more of a wrestler than someone who should cut promos, she says.

The exclusive interview continued on, and the entire 57-minute conversation can be heard, unedited, at ClubWWI.com. Moretti holds nothing back, discussing her thoughts on JBL, the old GLOW promotion and one diva that worked overly stiff with her.
