Roman Reigns recently did an interview with Complex where he talked about his history with The Undertaker.

The two former WWE Champions have worked together as both opponents and tag team partners. Reigns started out by calling the experience as “awesome” while noting that he’s not a new performer but rather from the new generation of performers.

He recognizes that he’s one of the very few who have been able to interact with The Undertaker in the ring. He also knows that he’s one of the few to be in that ring when he makes his entrance. Reigns called it “a whole new paint job when that gong hits.”

Reigns learned so many different things from watching him regarding his pacing, poise, cadence, all of that. He thought the most important thing for him was to make sure that he was feeling it out there.

While in the ring, Reigns understands and sees Taker having confidence and swagger come out that only “The Deadman” can show in his own way.

The unlikely tag team beat Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a tag team contest at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center back on July 14th.

They also made history together by being in the main event of WrestleMania. In 2017, Reigns beat “The Deadman” in a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 33 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
