Kane will be returning to action later this month.
The Big Red Monster has been added to a couple of Raw brand Live Events on Friday, August 23 in Bossier City, Louisiana and Saturday, August 24 in Lafayette, LA respectively.
He is advertised for a match against the Monster Among Men Braun Strowman at the Lafayette event, while his opponent for the Bossier City show hasn’t been revealed yet.
Kane was last seen on WWE Programming in the final quarter of 2018. Undertaker was feuding with Triple H at the time and Kane accompanied his brother for a match against the Game at the Super Showdown event from Australia.
Due to interference from Shawn Michaels, this match led to a feud between the Brothers of Destruction and DX. This rivalry concluded with a tag team bout between the two teams at the Crown Jewel event in November.
While the Undertaker has made numerous appearances on WWE programming since then, Kane has been away from the company, fulfilling his duties as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
There is no word yet on if the former World Champion will be sticking around after these Live Event appearances. It would be interesting to see if he makes his televised return for the promotion after these shows as well.
