Rumors were floating this past week that WWE was interested in bringing Enzo and Big Cass back for the NXT brand. WWE immediately shut down those rumors, saying that there was absolutely no truth to them.
To promote today's NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff event, Triple H spoke with talkSport, as seen below. When asked about the rumors, Triple H noted that he was the one to tell the PR department to squash them.
"I immediately told our PR to shoot down the Enzo and Cass rumors," Triple H said. "Absolutely zero interest. Congratulations to Enzo, I'm sure spreading rumors is working well for him but I want no part of it."
Enzo was released from WWE in January of 2018. Cass was released five months later in June of 2018.
