News on one match involving a top feud that has been heavily featured on WWE Monday Night RAW that was supposed to take place at Survivor Series but pushed to a later date has surfaced online.

That match is Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley. This news comes after it was listed among the matches locally advertised to take place at the TLC pay-per-view event last month.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE had originally planned to announce this match for the Survivor Series pay-per-view event. However, plans changed and it was pushed back to TLC.

The reason why it was moved from Survivor series to TLC is due to the feeling that the show is already overloaded as most of the card has already been announced.

The show being overloaded is caused by the 15-person Elimination Matches with WWE NXT, RAW and SmackDown teams. In theory, these matches would have to go 10 to 14 falls each.

Meltzer added that the current plans call for Rusev vs. Lashley to be a non-stipulation match at TLC.

As of this writing, there’s still no word yet on participants for the Team NXT men’s Triple Threat but NXT Champion Adam Cole will likely be the Captain. The reason for that belief is due to him not already being booked in a match that night.

Team RAW will feature Captain Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Ricochet and Drew McIntyre, while Team SmackDown will feature Captain Roman Reigns, Shorty G, Mustafa Ali, King Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman.
