Last night on Smackdown, a tag team championship match between The Revival and New Day ended in a no-contest. The match was stopped due to interference from NXT’s Undisputed Era.
Following Smackdown, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder spoke to WWE.com regarding the Undisputed Era costing them a shot at regaining the Smackdown tag team championships.
“We were this close, we were one second away from being the Smackdown tag team champions again,” Wilder says in the video. “And the Undisputed Era, they knew that. They were afraid of that, they couldn’t handle that because they know that when we’re the Smackdown tag team champions that we’re going to walk to Survivor Series, we’re going to beat the Undisputed Era, we’re going to beat the Viking Raiders and that terrifies them to their very core, Cathy. That’s what’s running through my head right now. They’re cowards and they can’t face the Revival because they know deep down inside that we are better than them in every way.”
“We take professional wrestling very seriously,” Dawson added. “We take it so seriously, there is only a couple of things above it and that’s my family, that’s God, and it’s professional wrestling, and you ruined it.”
