Not every star leaves WWE on amicable terms and there are many veterans who fans believe should be part of Hall Of Fame but they are not inducted because of their strained relationship with the company.

Former Tag Team Champions Demolition who are an example of this situation recently had an interview with WrestlingInc where they talked about a number of things.

When asked about a possible Hall Of Fame induction, Ax implied that they are not allowed backstage at the event anymore and joked that they will have to buy a ticket if they want to attend the show:

“We just have to figure out – we have to make enough money to buy a ticket. We can’t get in without buying a ticket,”

Though his partner Smash gave a more positive answer and keeping an attitude of never say never, the former WWE star said “You never know what’s going to happen.”

Demolition were part of WWE from 1987 to 1993 and held the tag team titles three times during their tenure. However, they tried to use the same gimmicks after their release from the company and were eventually sent a cease and desist letter by the officials.

Ax, real name Bill Eadie then filed a lawsuit against the promotion for the rights of Demolition character in the mid-90s but lost. The team is believed to have strained their relationship with the company further by joining the CTE lawsuit against them in 2016.
