The latest chapter in WarGames history has been written as the men’s version of the match is in the books.

WWE held the match at the NXT TakeOver: WarGames III event in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena on the WWE Network. The fourth member of Ciampa was Kevin Owens.

This contest saw Tommaso Ciampa, Donovan Dijak, Keith Lee and Owens beat The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) in the headliner.

They put on one heck of a match that delivered. For those who may not know, the gimmick match was originally used in the NWA and later held annually in WCW.

Last year’s event saw War Raiders, Ricochet & Pete Dunne beat The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Roderick Strong) in a WarGames match.

WWE holds the fallout episode from this show of NXT on Wednesday in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University.

It appears that Owens is in NXT for good but WWE has yet to confirm whether this was a one-night-only appearance or not.
