Sheamus has resurfaced on WWE television as he’s headed back to Friday Night SmackDown.

The former WWE Champion did a vignette on this week’s episode of SmackDown in Birmingham, AL at the Legacy Arena on FOX. As seen in the footage, Sheamus has his old theme song and previous look with spiky hair with his old beard.

He took shots at the WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Shorty G and King Baron Corbin before talking SmackDown will soon be his. You can watch the promo segment here:

Sheamus has been away from in-ring competition since this past April. He last competed in a six-man tag team match with Cesaro and Drew McIntyre. They lost to the New Day.

He reportedly suffered a concussion during this contest that took place on the post-WrestleMania 35 edition of SmackDown. He also has suffered from spinal stenosis.

Back in July, Sheamus started making some appearances for WWE again. In fact, he was backstage at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena but didn’t appear.
