KURT ANGLE ON BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE REPORT: BEING A SLAVE FOR WWE, STIFFING JOHN CENA, PAIN KILLERS, MMA OFFERS, TNA ON PRIMETIME & MORE

Kurt Angle appeared this afternoon on Bubba The Love Sponge on Sirius Howard101 channel.

They discussed WWE and Angle's departure first. Kurt said screw Vince, he was treated like a slave and was not treated well. He said Vince and him had a great relationship but things changed. He said Vince would not let him go to rehab a year ago and forced him to "make Cena" and that he holds that against Vince. Bubba brought up rumors about Vince wanting Kurt's wife Karen but Kurt didn't get into it. Bubba asked about HHH and if he was a cancer. Kurt said no but HHH does hog the show and should not be involved in creative. Angle said HHH was afraid of Kurt taking his spot and never tapped to him. He said HHH will be great once he is fully behind the scenes because he loves the business.

They talked a bit about Kurt's legitimate toughness and said the only other WWE performer he worried about was Big Show because of his size but that they were best friends. He said that Big Show asked Kurt if he could show him some moves and Kurt refused because he might have been unstoppable.

Kurt said he and Brock Lesnar almost signed to shoot fight for K1 and that he was in negotiations for UFC as well recently. He noted he thought about going with UFC after the Olympics but went with WWE instead. They talked about what Angle would do with Chuck Liddel in UFC. He said he would be taken down so fast he would have no idea what hit him and that the only way to beat Chuck would be to ground/pound. They talked UFC for awhile with no mention of TNA at this point, the 15 minute mark. aNGLE said he flew out to meet Dana White in Las Vegas. White offered an 8 year deal that would be one fight and then after that he would become a UFC ambassador without fighting and make over 10 million total.

Angle finally got to TNA and said they are on their way to beating WWE. He offered Bubba a chance to go to TNA and be on the show. Angle said the most he ever made from WWE was $2.5 million a year but said he "could have made a lot more with merchandising", but Vince refused. Angle said John Cena and Rey Mysterio make only 5% of their merchandise sales and Kurt made 30%.of his merchandise according to his deal, intimating WWE held back on producing more because of it.

Bubba asked if Angle was ever hooked on pain pills. Kurt said yes and felt he was on his way to die, taking well over 60 Percosets a day. He said he was addicted but was still able to get an erection (It is Bubba's show after all, so sex talk is a must). Angle again brought up the fact that Vince McMahon refused Kurt's request for time off to go to rehab almost 2 years ago. Angle said how he fought stiff with John Cena on purpose to get revenge on Vince and that he has respect for Cena for fighting back stiff. He feels he made Cena look legit. Almost 30 minutes in and only a brief TNA mention.

They talked about Hulk Hogan and the fact Hogan has said he heard Kurt talking bad about him. Kurt denied that but, then said his move to TNA was as big as Hogan's to WCW. He said he hopes Hulk would go to TNA but he has heard Hulk has a 20 year deal. Bubba, who is great friends with Hogan, said it's not true. He brought up that he had a 5 star match with Hogan at King Of The Ring years ago and let Hogan call the match which Kurt admitted he rarely does, noting he did the same with Austin as well.

Bubba said he will accept being a part of a TNA broadcast and Angle said Dixie Carter said its OK, so come on down. Kurt said he had a lot of say in WWE as far as who should gets pushed (that goes against his HHH comments). Angle noted Test was never used to his potential and he is happy he went to ECW because Test will shine there.

Chris Jericho was brought up and asked if he will go to TNA but Kurt basically side-stepped this issue.

Angle said he had an offer from PRIDE for 3 fights a year at $6 million per for 5 years but didn't feel he could do it because of injuries and age. Bubba plugged TNA and the Bound for Glory PPV (finally!) after 30+ minutes. Kurt said when they go into the new timeslot they will triple their current rating (that would be a 2.7 rating). Kurt and Bubba discussed having Kurt do a regular segment every week and Bubba said he'd love it.

Kurt brought up that his wife likes anal and would be open to discussing his sex life as well as TNA on Bubba's show. Kurt brought up how Hogan brought in Big Show and the fact that Kurt thinks Hogan run the greatest promotion ever if he wanted to.

Bubba asked if there was a chance Kurt could do a one-off for UFC and Kurt said he wants to but Dana White said no and that he must be exclusive to UFC. Kurt said he would beat Tito Ortiz via referee's decision and he felt Ortiz is the most versatile fighter in UFC.

A 40 minute plus interview which was more about WWE, MMA then TNA.
