WWE has confirmed another big title match for the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view. Hot off a historic championship victory at WrestleMania 37, Bianca Belair will defend the SmackDown women’s title against Bayley.
WWE first announced the news in an email blast promoting Friday’s SmackDown. It was later confirmed in a video posted on the company’s official social media channels.

In addition to Bianca Belair vs. Bayley, the only other match confirmed for WrestleMania Backlash is WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre in a WrestleMania rematch. Additional matches will be announced in the weeks ahead.
WWE presents the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view event on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from Tampa, Florida at Yuengling Center that will air on Peacock.
