WWE quietly letting Velveteen Dream go became a talking point among fans yesterday when the news about his release from the company broke online.

Among the people who reacted to the news was longtime WWE artist Rob Schamberger who made some interesting comments about the former NXT star.

Schamberger reacted to the news not long after it came out. He took Twitter to describe Dream as the ‘most unprofessional person’ he has encountered:

“Without saying anything further: He was the single most unprofessional person I’ve encountered in this business. I hope this is the wake up call he needs to start doing the emotional work to become a better person. All told.”

Rob Schamberger has had a long standing relationship with WWE and his work is printed on a variety of merchandise sold by the company. He also holds Canvas 2 Canvas show on YouTube in collaboration with WWE Network.

Velveteen Dream signed with WWE back in October 2015 after competing in the sixth season of Tough Enough. He acquired the Dream Moniker in May 2017 and received praise for his work with the new character.

However, he was accused of inappropriate behavior with underage boys and girls in 2020, leading to his removal from WWE programming.

While the officials initially claimed that they didn’t find anything in their investigation against Dream, it was reported yesterday that the NXT star has been released from his contract.
