WWE will have its first Hell in a Cell match at a WrestleMania since WrestleMania 32 in 2016 this weekend when Edge battles Finn Balor at WrestleMania 39.
The two stars have been feuding since last spring, and now the feud looks to be coming to a close. There has been some speculation regarding the possibility that Balor could bring back his Demon gimmick for the bout after there have been a few teases of that happening as of late in the promos leading up to the bout.
Fans will at least see a notable change to the appearance of the cell.
Pwinsider reports that the structure hanging over the ring is the black color that WWE originally used it for and did for many years before switching to the red version used in recent years, a move that fans haven’t liked.
The red cell was introduced in 2018, a decision that fans had questioned every year that WWE held the gimmick match. This is a nice change for fans trying to sit through these matches.
WWE presents the WrestleMania 39 premium live event on April 1 and 2, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA.
