WrestleMania 39 will occur on April 1 and 2 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. WWE fans are looking forward to this weekend, as it will be a historic two-night event. As of now, tickets for both are on sale on Ticketmaster. The April 1 show has tickets for as low as $50, with April 2 tickets listed at $71.

Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported that the night one event sold 62,351 tickets, and night two had 62,961. The company may try to open more availability to get 75,000 tickets for both nights. WWE is looking for good business with their live gate. However, according to WWE's Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales and Partnerships, Craig Stimmel, they have already secured excellent sponsorship revenue.

Stimmel told ABC News that WWE sponsorship revenue had earned over $20 Million. One of the sponsorships for WrestleMania 39 will be Cinnamon Toast Crunch. What other sponsorships have partnered with WWE for this year's event is unclear.

The success of WrestleMania 39 will seemingly have a positive effect on WWE's pursuit to sell the company. WWE is expected to have a sell-out crowd for both nights of WrestleMania and should do significant viewership on Peacock. WWE CEO Nick Khan shared that the company was expecting a sale to happen with CNBC's Squawk Box on Feb. 3.

A new update from CNBC's David Faber on March 28 that the process was looking good and could be concluded soon. Some potential bidders could be Comcast, Disney, Netflix, and the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund. Although Faber shared that, to his understanding, Comcast would not be involved in the sale process.

The company could meet with potential bidders this weekend to pursue a sale, as they are in California. For example, one of the notable bidders, Disney headquarters, is located in Burbank, California. When discussing the decision to have WrestleMania 39 in California, Khan shared on The Herd with Colin Cowherd that it was intentional from the start; taking place in the area makes it easier to meet with people to discuss potential business with the company. He says that WWE will meet with Fox and NBCU to discuss media rights.

The future of WWE is unclear as to who will buy the company. However, as WWE continues its success, negotiations are better for them.
