Bayley has fans speculating about her WWE future coming out of the first night of WWE WrestleMania 39.
Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY returned to WWE programming in a statement move made by Triple H at last year’s SummerSlam by introducing the new faction where they confronted Becky Lynch and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair following their match. Since then, they’ve been pushed as a top act.
At Saturday’s WrestleMania, Damage CTRL lost to Trish Stratus, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Lynch, and Lita in a six-woman tag team match after feuding for the last several weeks.
This marked Bayley's first WrestleMania match in two years. At WrestleMania 37 in 2021, she was used for a few skits involving The Bella Twins, Hulk Hogan, and Titus O'Neil, while last year, she was sidelined with an injury that forced her to miss WrestleMania 38 in Dallas before she returned.
This morning, Bayley took to Twitter to share a cryptic post that ended with “bye.” She wrote the following: :
“And sometimes the most romantic love story comes to an end. Bye”
It’s unclear whether she was referring to their feud with the babyfaces, the group she has been leading, or something else. It’s possible that she takes time off from WWE TV.
