Triple H's position as WWE's Head of Creative is reportedly secure despite the promotion's acquisition by Endeavor Holdings Group.

It was announced earlier today that Endeavor is to purchase Vince McMahon's promotion for a reported $9.3 billion.

Endeavor will form a new company consisting of WWE and UFC, which is estimated to have a value of over $21 billion.

Ever since McMahon returned to WWE, there had been concerns among fans and talent that the 77-year-old would return as Head of Creative.

The consensus has been that WWE's product has improved since McMahon retired and Triple H's appointment as Head of Creative.

John Pollock of POST Wrestling reports that an internal email said that Paul Levesque (Triple H) will remain on under the official title as "Chief Content Executive."

Pollock added in a subsequent tweet that this email was sent by Vince McMahon himself.

Triple H will have the final say on WWE's programming, but his father-in-law will still make his presence felt.

Speaking to CNBC after the deal was announced, McMahon said that he will be involved with creative "on a higher level."

McMahon will give input on the overall direction of creative, but will not be in the "weeds" or working on each episode of programming.

Ari Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor, who was also interviewed by CNBC, added that he will have no involvement or input with the creative direction of WWE.

It would just be stupid to remove Triple H from creative .. at this stage anyway.
