Vince McMahon is claiming that he will not appear on WWE TV as the evil authority figure anymore after their deal with Endeavor.

The news of WWE merging with UFC to form a new company under the supervision of Endeavor shook the wrestling world earlier today.

Vince McMahon and Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel had an interview with CNBC's Scott Wapner to discuss the implications of this sale.

During the interview, McMahon was asked about his involvement with the WWE creative, to which he said that he will be involved 'on a higher level,' but won't go into the weeds of the creative process.

When inquired about the future of his highly popular yet controversial Mr. McMahon authority figure character, the longtime WWE owner claimed that "Mr. McMahon is dead."

Emanuel then claimed that whether or not Vince appears on TV will be "His choice, Purely his choice," Though Vince once again shut down the idea saying "that's not gonna happen."

The WWE chairman also commented on the scandal that originally led to his retirement from the promotion, claiming that he has owned up to every mistake and then 'moved on.'

There is much that is yet to be made clear about this merger including how it will affect the WWE creative process, the employees and more.

A shame McMahon will not appear on TV anymore. He should come out once the merge is finalised and address the WWE Universe maybe .. then he could retire his Authority character.
