WrestleMania week has not turned out as expected for Cody Rhodes.
The American Nightmare thought that he would finish the story and win his first world title in WWE at the Show of Shows. Roman Reigns stopped him from achieving the dream however and the Tribal Chief continued his historic run with some help from Solo Sikoa.
It then seemed like Cody had found a solid ally in his fight against The Bloodline when Brock Lesnar decided to team up with him on Raw After WrestleMania. However, before this match against Reigns and Solo could go underway, The Beast Incarnate turned heel and attacked the former AEW Star.
The former UFC Champion then delivered a classic Brock Lesnar beating on Rhodes to end the show, leaving only destruction in his wake. The show ended with the medics checking on Cody in the ring while Brock flipped everyone off from the stage.
After the cameras stopped rolling, the officials brought out a stretcher to take Rhodes out. The Raw star refused to be taken out. He instead chose to walk out of the arena on his own as fans applauded him. He reached the stage by himself but collapsed again and the WWE staff had to help him get back:
