WWE Hall of Famer Lita was victorious this past weekend at WrestleMania Goes Hollywood, but she didn't escape unscathed.
Lita, along with Becky Lynch, is one half of the WWE women's tag team champions. The fearsome duo teamed up with Trish Stratus at WrestleMania in a 6-woman tag team match against Damage CTRL.
The babyfaces were victorious and delivered a feel-good moment for the 80,000+ fans in attendance at Sofi Stadium. We later found out that Lita sustained a nasty shiner (black eye) during the contest.
Like any pro wrestler, Lita knows that potential injuries are just part of the job. She proudly showed off her black eye on her Instagram story. The bruised eye was also visible in photos she took backstage after her match.

Luckily, the black eye won't result in Lita missing any ring time. She was back on TV at Monday's Raw, and is scheduled for a title defense next wee when the champs put their titles on the line against Liv Morgan and Raquel Gonzales.

It's been great seeing Lita and Trish Stratus back on television. Lita and Becky Lynch have had a feel-good title reign, but there's a strong chance it will come crashing down very soon.
Lita and Trish Stratus are Hall of Fame legends who are not expected to remain active competitors for much longer. We've heard rumblings about Trish Stratus betraying her friends and turning heel. Next week's title match would be the perfect opportunity for WWE to pull the trigger on this potential storyline.
It remains to be seen if Trish will feud with Becky or Lita, but Trish and Lita have a ton of history together going back nearly twenty years. If Trish does turn heel, there could be money in WWE reviving this classic feud one more time.
