WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER is now a happily married man after tying the knot with former NXT UK Superstar Jinny.

The two wrestlers got married over the weekend in a ceremony in London, England, during WWE's recent European tour. After making their marriage official at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, GUNTHER shared a photo of himself and Jinny celebrating.

The happy couple were also seen dancing together at the reception in clips shared to Twitter. While we don't know the entire guest list, we know that NXT's Tiffany Stratton was one of the names in attendance.

GUNTHER and Jinny met during their tenures in NXT UK. Last year, Jinny changed her surname on social media to Hahn (GUNTHER's real-life surname.) GUNTHER had also affectionately begun referring to Jinny as his wife at the time. In January of this year, Jinny announced her retirement from wrestling due to an injury.

GUNTHER's marriage with Jinny is just the latest milestone in what has been quite the year for the leader of Imperium. In January, GUNTHER broke the record for the longest tenure in a traditional Royal Rumble match, breaking the 17-year streak of Rey Mysterio. The final man to be eliminated from the match, GUNTHER would go on to successfully defend his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 39 against Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.

During last Friday's SmackDown, GUNTHER, alongside Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser was drafted to Monday Night Raw. The reigning Intercontinental Champion is also closing in on the record for the longest reign with the title. GUNTHER will need to remain Intercontinental Champion until September 8, 2023, to surpass the Honky Tonk Man's record.
