What does the future hold for Indus Sher, now that the faction is on WWE's main roster?

During the 2023 WWE Draft, the trio of Jinder Mahal, Veer Mahaan, and Sanga were all called-up to the main roster from NXT. During this week's Raw, Veer and Sanga got a dominant first win as a team on the main roster, demolishing an enhancement talent tag team.

Fightful Select reports that the main creative plan for Indus Sher on the main roster is for Veer and Sanga to operate as a tag team, with Mahal serving as the mouthpiece for the duo. While Mahal will be the team's manager, the former WWE Champion will still wrestle.

The trio has teamed together in NXT, with their most recent match as a unit coming at the Roadblock special in March. At the event, Indus Sher lost to Bron Breakker and the Creed Brothers.

Mahal first debuted on SmackDown in 2011 and would capture the WWE Championship six years later. For Mahaan, he arrived alongside Sanga in 2018 in NXT and would quickly form the pairing of Indus Sher (meaning Indian Tigers.) Mahann was drafted to Raw in the 2021 Draft but wouldn't debut until the April 4, 2022, episode of the red brand, but would return to NXT that October.

In addition to WWE, Sanaga appeared for Ring Ka King, TNA Wrestling's Indian promotion under the name Deadly Danda. In the promotion, the heel faction of RDX (Sanga, Scott Steiner, Abyss, Sonjay Dutt, and Nick 'Magnus' Aldis) won the 2012 World Cup of Ring Ka King.
