WWE was very happy with being able to put three matches on the card at the recent Night of Champions Premium Live Event.

WWE's most recent event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the ninth overall as part of the promotion's relationship with the kingdom. The first women's match of the night saw Trish Stratus defeat Becky Lynch, albeit with an assist from Zoey Stark. Next up, Asuka ended the 400+ day reign of Bianca Belair to become a three-time Raw Women's Champion. The third women's match of the night saw SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley squash Natalya to retain the gold.

PW Insider Elite reports that WWE was very happy with having three women's matches at Night of Champions this week. The belief is that it was a sign of how far things have come since their deal with the Kingdom started.

When WWE began its decade-long deal with Saudi Arabia, women were banned from being shown in any capacity. This led to issues during 2018's Greatest Royal Rumble when Carmella (the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion at the time) was briefly shown during a commercial alongside other Superstars. In response, the Saudi General Sports Authority apologized for what it described as "indecent scenes".

At WWE Crown Jewel 2019, Natalya and Lacey Evans competed in the first-ever women's match in Saudi Arabia, with the Queen of Harts getting the win. The pair wore black attires that covered their entire bodies with oversized shirts. While WWE's women's roster continues to wear body-covering attires in accordance with local standards, the attires are now more reflective of the characters.

How can they be happy with Ripley vs Natalya? What was there to be happy about .. the entrances? It went for 2 secons. lol I am very happy Asuka won and it was a good match. Lynch vs Stratus was a good match although Trish Stratus looks younger than she did when she debuted in 2000. lol
