New World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins' first title defense will be as part of a stacked WWE live event this weekend.

Rollins captured the championship last week at WWE Night of Champions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In a 12-man tournament, Rollins went through Shinsuke Nakamura, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor before finally besting AJ Styles in the finals in the middle eastern kingdom. The championship has been created due to Roman Reigns' limited schedule as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

On this week's Raw, Rollins didn't put his new championship on the line but instead teamed with Styles to defeat The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest. In an e-mail sent out by WWE, it was confirmed that Rollins' first title defense will come at tomorrow night's Saturday live show in White Plains, New York. The show will be WWE's first event in White Plains since 2019 and will see Rollins defend his gold against The Miz.

Rollins' first defense as World Heavyweight Champion will just be one match in a stacked card for the show. The event will also see Cody Rhodes take on Finn Balor in a 'White Plains Street Fight.' Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn will also be in action and they will put the titles on the line against the Viking Raiders.

In Women's division action, Bianca Belair will face off against Bayley. SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley is also advertised to appear, but an opponent has not been listed at this time.
