As expected, WWE has confirmed that Bron Breakker will step into the ring with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins,
Last week on NXT, Breakker laid out the challenge after taking out Ilja Dragunov with a spear. Breakker, a former NXT Champion, wanted a crack at Rollins, who is also a former NXT Champion, for his title in NXT.
On Tuesday’s episode, Breakker came out to the ring where he put Rollins over for being revolutionary and wanted to step into the ring with him. Dragunov came out, but was held back by security before disappearing. Bron stated he doesn’t care who they put in the ring with him, let alone it be Rollins, he’d spear them just like Dragunov. Rollins appeared on the big screen by noting that Bron should know that he doesn’t get a title shot just because he said he wants it.
However, because Rollins has been in his spot before, he can respect the challenge and would accept it because he thinks it would be nice to go back to NXT. He accepted Bron’s challenge for next week for the World Title.

Shawn Michaels, who oversees NXT creative and serves as the on-screen General manager, announced that in the next two weeks, there would be two special episodes titled, Gold Rush, something the company recently trademarked. The main event of next week’s show is Rollins vs. Breakker.
In two weeks, the Baron Corbin vs. Dragunov winner on Tuesday’s episode would face Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Title.
