Former AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter was all praise to CM Punk ahead of latter's impending return.

After CM Punk's return was rumored, AEW President Tony Khan officially announced that Punk will be making his return at AEW Collision premiere on June 17. It is set to be held at Chicago's famous United Center, where Punk made his return to pro wrestling a couple of years back. At the Collision premiere, 'The Second City Saviour' will team up with longtime friends FTR to take on the team of Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Samoa Joe.

This will mark Punk's first appearance since he was suspended from the promotion after his bold post-show comments and involvement in the alleged backstage fight at the infamous All Out Pay-Per-View.

The rising talent, Jamie Hayter recently joined in for an interview with Metro and she was asked about CM Punk.

During the interview, Jamie Hayter spoke highly of the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The AEW star mentioned that she learned a lot from the veteran and he had been 'very helpful.'

"From my experience with him, he was always very, very pleasant. Very helpful, and I always had really great conversations with him about wrestling. He’s a wealth of knowledge because he’s been in the business for so long, and he’s got extensive experience," Jamie Hayter said

The former AEW Women's Champion also claimed that one would be considered an ignorant fool if one refused to seek advice from Punk.

"You’d kind of be a fool to not want to pick his brain and not want to work with the guy. He knows what he’s doing!"

Furthermore, Hayter opened up about Punk's popularity. She believes that despite his actions at the post-show media, he's still the self-proclaimed Best in the World.

"He was one of the most gripping performers in professional wrestling. The Summer of Punk, all of that, everyone was so into it and there was a reason why he was the most popular wrestler," Hayter said. "To be honest, I would say he’s still incredibly popular now, regardless of the All Out stuff and the drama. He’s still a big name and he’s still wanted in the business."

Jamie Hayter is currently recuperating an injury and she will be eyeing to make her return ahead of AEW’s upcoming All In pay-per-view at the iconic Wembley Stadium on August 27.
