Fans shouldn't expect to see UFC megastar Conor McGregor join WWE anytime soon.

The former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Champion has teased throughout his career in MMA that he could make the jump to UFC like Ronda Rousey did a few years ago.

Earlier this year, during WrestleMania 39 weekend, the UFC star shared a photo of himself with a WWE Title over one shoulder and a UFC belt over the other with the tag #Itsinevitable.

McGregor also had a back-and-forth around this time on Twitter with Paul Heyman, where Heyman noted McGregor was a "Roman Reigns wannabe.” McGregor responded by threatening to crash SummerSlam and suplex him.

In 2019, McGregor teased about going to the company, with many people thinking it was a negotiation tactic on his part for his next fight in the UFC.

While out on the town in New York and signing items, street reporter Adam Glyn recently asked whether he is interested in working with WWE. McGregor responded, "No, not really."

McGregor was also asked about future acting roles, leading to him implying that he’s focused on his MMA career for now as he is currently coaching opposite Michael Chandler on the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter.

McGregor's last win came over Donald Cerrone by TKO in the headliner of the UFC 246 pay-per-view event on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
