Thoughts on the show: After what could be one of the most surreal weeks that I have ever experienced as a wrestling fan, I felt that things would be better knowing that FIP was running shows this weekend. I was not disappointed with this show…..There are not too many people in wrestling who are better on the mic than Colt Cabana and he is one of the few people in wrestling who I might enjoy cutting a ten minute promo as much as seeing that person wrestle a twenty five minute match…..The feud between the Miracle Violence Connection 2006 and whatever weird name Colt Cabana and Sal Rinauro come up with each show has been very entertaining and has done a lot to showcase all four wrestlers to the FIP crowds….It is good to see FIP have such a strong tag team division, and they have done a lot to make all of the teams strong so fans should not be surprised if any of the teams end up defeating the champions. In addition to Miracle Violence Connection 2006 and Rinauro/Cabana; Fast and Furious, Black Market, Seth Delay and Chasyn Rance, and any combination of DP Associates are viable contenders to the Heartbreak Xpress’s titles…..One of FIP’s strengths is their ability to use Ring of Honor talent. I don’t think BJ Whitmer has worked for the company since they moved out of the smaller venues, but he was very impressive in his return. Matt Sydal also had a very strong debut with the company…..Even though he was not originally scheduled to be on the show, it was a good surprise to have Roderick Strong appear. He had a very good match with BJ Whitmer and showed why he is one of the top wrestlers…..It was interesting to see the way that Black Market reacted to the Heartbreak Xpress’s interference in their match against Rance and Delay. It showed that it was more important for them to win their match than to do what the Heartbreak Xpress wanted them to do. I think a feud between those two teams would be interesting despite the fact that both teams are heels…..Full Impact Pro Wrestling returns to Clearwater at the Long Center on Friday, April 7, 2006.
