CM Punk believes Darby Allin has plenty to offer for AEW's future if he doesn't destroy his body in some insane stunt first.

Allin has been one of the most featured stars in AEW since joining the promotion in 2019 and is considered one of the 'four pillars' of the company. Allin had previously been offered a contract by WWE, but believing that he'd spend his tenure sat on the sidelines, did not hesitate to turn the offer down.
CM Punk on Darby Allin

When CM Punk joined AEW in 2021, the former WWE World Champion wasted no time in selecting Allin as his first opponent in seven years. Speaking recently to SI, Punk praised Allin's efforts and spoke of the latter's long-term prospects.

"He’s got that ‘It Factor’, and he’s really getting comfortable... He has a ton to offer, as long as he doesn’t kill himself jumping over his house in a f***ing monster truck or something like that.”

Both Allin and Punk will be a part of this Sunday's All In event inside London's Wembley Stadium. Punk will defend his 'real' AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe, while Allin and Sting will face AR Fox and Swerve Strickland in a tag-team Coffin Match.
Darby Allin's Stunts

Allin is a known risk-taker, both in and out of the ring. Last August, the former TNT Champion jumped a jeep over his own house which he called the "sketchiest stunt" he's ever done. The previous month, Allin appeared at a Nitro Circus event and attempted a backflip on a trike but was unsuccessful. More recently, Allin has shared his intent to climb Mt. Everest but there is no word on when he will begin his journey to the summit.
