CM Punk's relationship with AEW President Tony Khan could be on the brink of collapse due to what transpired last weekend at All In.

The August 27, 2023, event marked AEW's first international event and boasted the largest paid attendance of any wrestling event in history. Once again though, the events of this AEW pay-per-view have been overshadowed by CM Punk and his backstage physical altercation, this time with Jack Perry. Both men have been suspended from AEW due to their altercation following Perry's Zero Hour match against Hook.

PW Torch reports that CM Punk walked into Wembley Stadium already unhappy, as no one from AEW was waiting for him at the airport. This resulted in Punk having to make his own travel arrangements and at one point got lost in London's tube system.

At All In, Punk reportedly approached Tony Khan in front of other people in his locker room. The 'Real World Champion' came at Khan in a “heated, intense manner” and “chewed out Khan with harsh phrasing."

It has been reported that there was a concern that Punk's match with Samoa Joe wouldn't take place, or that it would be delayed, but PW Torch adds that it didn't take long for Punk to agree to compete in his match as scheduled, but that neither he nor Joe was happy about what had happened.

There was an extended period of time without communication between Punk and Khan, which is unusual for the pair. Even during past controversies, Punk and Khan have remained in contact, and it is unclear if the two have spoken since All In.

Tony Khan admitted during the All In media scrum, that a backstage incident had taken place, and an investigation into the matter is ongoing. Until then, Punk and Perry will remain off of TV, and will likely miss this weekend's All Out pay-per-view in Chicago.

Some AEW wrestlers and personnel are openly speculating whether Punk is looking to just remove himself entirely from AEW at this point according to PW Torch. With AEW negotiating upcoming TV rights fees with WarnerMedia though, Khan may be reluctant to part ways with the company's biggest star.

CM Punk reportedly threatened to quit AEW over what happened at All In.

Punk should not have done that publicly. Maybe Punk does not want to be in AEW lol
