For the first time in the show's brief history, the Young Bucks have appeared on AEW Collision.

Matt and Nick Jackson appeared in the closing moment of the show, coming to the aid of AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR. Jay White had defeated Dax Harwood, and both Harwood and Cash Wheeler were attacked by Bullet Club Gold and The Gunns.

The Bucks made the save and ran off the heels to a loud pop from the fans. The Bucks offered handshakes to Harwood and Wheeler, who then walked away without shaking hands. The Bucks had previously walked away from a handshake offer after losing to FTR at All In last weekend in Wembley Stadium.

Despite the differences between the two teams, the Bucks and FTR will team up tonight at AEW All Out to face Bullet Club Gold.

he Bucks' debut on AEW Collision came shortly after AEW confirmed that CM Punk had been released from the promotion. Punk was released from AEW following an investigation into the backstage altercation with Jack Perry last weekend at AEW All In.

Punk had previously been the top star of AEW Collision, and had kept as far from the Young Bucks and the Elite as possible. A soft roster split had resulted in Punk being confined to appearing on Collision while the Elite were kept to appearing on AEW Dynamite. With Punk gone and the Bucks debuting this week, it appears that the Elite will be free to appear on Collision going forward.
