John Cena is one of the most decorated WWE Superstars in history, but even he bends the knee to acknowledge the Tribal Chief.
Cena is currently over in India for Superstar Spectacle, WWE's first live event from the country since 2017. He teams up with World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins against Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci. It's Cena's second match of the year (he wrestled and lost to Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39).
The 16-time World Champion did a bunch of media appearances this week to hype Superstar Spectacle. While fielding questions on Friday, Cena was asked by Sportskeeda about his opinion of the greatest of all time
"In my perspective, I think Roman Reigns is the greatest of all time," said Cena.
It might be a political answer, since Reigns is still an active WWE Superstar, while legends like Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart are not, but Cena's been in the ring with Reigns before and can speak from experience.
Cena has named Reigns as the GOAT before and it's interesting to see his opinion hasn't wavered. Cena has said that he sees Reigns as having the acting chops to cross over into movies, another realm he can speak with experience.
Cena is currently back with WWE through the end of October and is expected to work at least one more match during this run.
