On Saturday night, former TBS Champion, Jade Cargill, made her return to AEW on Collision. She returned from a well deserved break after a historic 508-day reign as champion.

During her time away, Cargill and her family took vacations to places like Egypt. She and partner, Brandon Phillips, co-own a women's fastpitch franchise. The Texas Smoke are the inaugural Women's Professional Fastpitch champions.

While she was away from AEW, she would occasionally put talent over, like Ricky Starks. She was always showing love and support for the women. Before the historic ALL IN pay-per-view, she said she was "happy for the women's match tonight. I bet they kill it."

Ahead of ALL OUT, she tweeted "the women are going to kill it today."

Hours before her return, she advocated for another wrestler, ROH Women's Champion, Athena. The "Forever Champion" tagged ROH and said "I effin dare you." Cargill replied "you should be on the Wednesdays. Killing bitches. That's a fact."

Athena has been making history as champion. She is the first Black woman to main event Dark, Rampage, and ROH television. She and Willow Nightingale were the first women to ever main event an ROH pay-per-view. "The Fallen Goddess" is closing in on 50 consecutive wins in ROH-sanctioned matches.

With all of the accolades that Athena has been racking up, many have been calling for her to be in AEW full-time. At the very least, she should compete on AEW programming more often, especially given that the other champions wrestle on AEW television more than ROH.

Perhaps we see Cargill make a run at Athena's championship in the near future.
