There will be plenty to tune in for during next week's episode of AEW Collison, which will feature the return of Rob Van Dam.

Van Dam's return was confirmed during this week's episode of Collision, but there is no confirmation as to what he will be doing during the broadcast. Next week's Collison will take place in the WWE Hall of Famer's home state of Michigan.

RVD made his AEW debut on the August 2, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite. The former WWE & ECW World Champion would compete the following week but would be unable to dethrone then-FTW Champion Jack Perry.

Last night's Collision also saw Ricky Starks & Big Bill defeat Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli, with Starks getting a pinfall victory over Danielson. This marks Danielson's first loss since his return from injury and his first defeat this year since coming up short against MJF at AEW Revolution 2023.

Later in the show, Starks spoke about wanting more, and was tired of AEW promoting Danielson's AEW Wrestledream match with Zack Sabre Jr., or as Starks noted "a guy that doesn't even work here." Starks said he wanted to become Danielson's nightmare and face him in a Texas Death match, which has been made official.

Next week's Collision will also see Jay White clash with Andrade El Idolo, which was also confirmed during this week's episode of Collision. FTR will put their AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line next week when they defend against The WorkHorsemen.
