WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has become the latest in a long list of stars to praise the efforts of AEW World Champion MJF.
Since joining AEW in 2019, MJF has been a fixture of the promotion and has been used in some of the company's most iconic feuds. MJF's ring work and dedication to his character both in and out of the ring have earned him praise from fans and those in the industry. In October of last year, Mick Foley praised MJF as someone who believes everything he says while Eric Bischoff recently compared MJF to Kurt Angle, stating that the champion can do funny and serious just like the Olympian. The Miz, has praised MJF, saying he's no copycat of his own work, while both Ric Flair and Sami Zayn have had kind words for the AEW star.
During an episode of the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, the infamous wrestling personality was asked a question from a fan who attended a recent 1deadMAN show in Glasgow, Scotland. The fan revealed that during the show, The Undertaker named MJF as his dream opponent from the current crop of wrestlers. The fan stated that the WWE Hall of Famer 'talked' MJF up as a future star who is solid in the ring and "lives his gimmick."
This clip from Cornette's show would catch the attention of the AEW World Champion/ROH World Tag Team Champion. On Twitter, MJF said that there are not many higher honors than being praised by The Undertaker and thanked the Deadman for the compliment.
