Big things are coming for Jey Uso following the former Tag Team Champion's move to Monday Night Raw.

At WWE SummerSlam, Jey lost to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, thanks to the interference of Jey's brother Jimmy. On the following SmackDown, Jey would quit the blue brand, and be introduced as Raw's newest Superstar by Cody Rhodes at WWE Payback earlier this month.

When Fightful Select reached out around SummerSlam, asking about the possibility of Reigns losing the title, several sources in WWE pointed to members of the Bloodline as important building blocks. They were also told that they were confident that the angle would launch Jey Uso into singles stardom.

Fightful has been told that Uso moving to Raw is part of that process and that there are long-term plans for Jey on the red brand that are already in month. Uso is tentatively planned for a long term, heavily featured role that should carry at least through the next two months. The former Bloodline member will be getting a lot of screen time as a result and WWE officials are said to be very happy with the reactions he has been getting from the crowd so far.

While Jey has been accepted by the WWE Universe who tune into/attend Raw, the former Tag Team Champion has received a somewhat cold welcome by the roster, with names like Drew McIntyre being hesitant to trust the former Bloodline affiliate. During last week's Raw, the two battled in the main event, with McIntyre getting the win. When the Judgment Day attacked Jey after the match, McIntyre decided not to help other faces fend off the faction.
