With NXT No Mercy Premium Live Event in the books, the brand is gearing up for NXT special "Halloween Havoc." This year WWE is celebrating Halloween with a special two-week episode of NXT.

It has become a tradition for NXT to hold Halloween Havoc in the month of October. The show originally debuted as a pay-per-view under the WCW branding in 1989. WCW regularly held it as an event until 2000. The show was disbanded after WCW's buyout until WWE revived the show.

Halloween Havoc was brought back as an NXT TV special in 2020. In 2020 and 2021, Halloween Havoc aired on TV. However, last year it was held as an NXT Premium Live Event

During NXT No Mercy, WWE announced that this year's edition of NXT Halloween Havoc will take place across two weeks. Part one of the episode is set for Tuesday, October 24. Then the episode will conclude with part two on Halloween night Tuesday, October 31. Both the episodes of Halloween Havoc will air live on USA Network in NXT's usual 8-10 p.m. Eastern time.

This is the fourth straight year that Halloween Havoc has been an NXT TV special. Notably, Halloween Havoc will be one of NXT's final special events of 2023. The last NXT premium live event of the year is NXT Deadline, which is being held in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Saturday, December 9. Deadline will feature the return of NXT's Iron Survivor Challenge match.
