Dolph Ziggler won't be stepping into the ring just yet, but the ex-Superstar will be teaming with AEW's Ryan Nemeth for an upcoming comedy show.

Ziggler was arguably the biggest name cut from WWE last month as part of a wave of releases that included Matt Riddle, Shelton Benjamin, and Mustafa Ali, among others. Signing with WWE in 2004, Ziggler would become a two-time World Heavyweight Champion with the company and would have many Intercontinental, United States, and Tag Title reigns. Ziggler is also a former NXT Champion and captured the SmackDown Money in the Bank briefcase in 2012.

Due to his 90-day non-compete clause, Dolph Ziggler can't compete for, appear for, or sign with another wrestling promotion at this time. This clause will expire on December 20. That doesn't mean the Show-Off can't appear in a non-wrestling capacity and on Twitter, his brother Ryan Nemeth announced the 'HUNKAMANIA' comedy show which will come to Chicago on November 24.

This won't be Ziggler's first foray into comedy. Ziggler first began performing comedy in the early 2010s and would often perform stand-up at comedy clubs near WWE events. In 2018, Ziggler appeared on Comedy Central's Roast Battle III where he faced fellow comic and long-time friend Sarah Tiana.

In early 2019, Ziggler embarked on his first headlining tour that lasted from the end of January to the end of March. Ziggler would take time away from WWE to work on his show. Later that year, Ziggler announced two shows in Texas for May of that year.
