Chicago, Illinois will have to make room for WWE Survivor Series and WWE is now making more room for the Windy City.

Survivor Series will take place over Thanksgiving weekend at the Allstate Arena and WrestleTix has discovered that WWE is expanding their seating chart for the event. The original set of seats for Survivor Series was just over 12,500 but now WWE has opened up 2,784 more, totaling the current count to be at 15,342.

The Allstate Arena will not just play host to the PLE, but they will also have WWE SmackDown on Friday and WrestleTix notes that these changes appear to signify a stage change.

WWE Survivor Series is just over a month away, but the event and the location has opened up the doors for a lot of discussion among wrestling fans.

Considering the event is hailing from Chicago, the talk of CM Punk making his return to the company had steadily been sitting at the Thanksgiving table considering he was "terminated with cause" from AEW. However, recent reports have stifled such a notion, stating that there haven't been talks between CM Punk and WWE.

The latest news circling around the event is a potential return for a WarGames match. Last year in Boston, The Bloodline notoriously won their "match beyond" against a Kevin Owens led team and now it at least appears that the bout could return for the men's roster. The fight was mostly memorable for Sami Zayn furthering showing his loyalty to The Bloodline.
