Former AEW Women's World Champion is ready to return to the ring, over a year after her most recent match.

Rosa suffered an injury last August which resulted in an Interim AEW Women's World Championship replacing the title she held at the time. By November, when it was clear that Rosa would not be returning soon, Rosa relinquished her title and the interim championship became the official AEW Women's World Title.

After over a year away, Rosa is eager to make a return and believes she is ready for the opportunity. Taking to Twitter, Rosa said that she was ready and teased a showdown with Steph Vaquer in either AEW or CMLL.

Rosa's return is expected to happen sooner rather than later and could happen at "any time" according to a report from last month.

There had been accusations that Rosa was exaggerating her injury, given that she reportedly only told AEW she would be unable to compete after learning she'd be losing her title at AEW All Out 2022. Rosa's injury also came amid reports of backstage heat with many women in the company. Rosa has always denied that her injury was anything other than completely genuine, saying that she was barely able to walk last August.
